16,500 prophylactics /125 people = FUN WINTER!

Well folks if you have ever bought prophylactics you probably know that purchasing such things from your neighborhood grocery store can be a bit embarrassing, especially if your Sunday school teacher ends up in line behind you. Turns out the researchers in Antarctica just can’t get over their embarrassment about buying them at their base station McMurdo.
“Since everybody knows everyone, it becomes a bit uncomfortable,” said McMurdo’s manager, Bill Henriksen.
So the US research base at the south pole just recieved a shipment of 16,500 condoms to help get the 125 staffers them through the long, hard winter (no pun intended). Um, I did the math and that’s roughly 132 per staffer. Lets say the winter is about 3 months long, that gives them 44 per month to use as they wish. (I’m sure the person who ordered them was a man or they’ve been reading this Just Do It book)
