If you thought that the pilot who landed US Airways flight 1549 on the Hudson River was cool, you haven’t seen this simulation with the real FAA voice recordings. I’m absolutely stunned by his nerves.

No free beverages on US airways

Starting Mid-August, US airways will be the first major airline to charge for refreshments on the plane. It will be $2 for each beverage, soft drinks, juices, coffee and bottled water. They are also increasing the cost of alcoholic beverages to $7.
US airways is calling this the “pay-for-what-you-use” business model.
