I stumbled across this little gem of an advice article and couldn’t help but post the link and of course the infamous prom photo at left.
Here is an excerpt to wet your palate:
“If dateless, try not to sulk all night. Whether it was by choice or forced upon you, you deserve to enjoy your night nonetheless. Brooding all night will have you remembered as the bitter, angry, “badmind” girl without a date.

Evil Twins: Ghetto Prom Attendee and Lil Kim

Wow. I thought this was the extent of the hoochie mama prom attendees. Apparently I was wrong. Yes, at Ghetto Prom in some US town, one girl channeled Lil Kim and wore essentially a NuBra covered in eggplant tafetta and a hastily wrapped skirt. If the whole trickle-up theory of fashion is true, we will be seeing this on the red carpet next season! Get excited (or get a blindfold).
