The Tumbler from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight made its rounds through Dallas today. The version shown was the driveable car from the movie. I think I took enough Hi-Res shots for everyone to get a better idea of the detail involved and the overall construction of the vehicle. Click through to the Flickr gallery after the jump!
Google Earth has a Flight Simulator?!
So, I was looking up aerial photographs of a site at work today when I discovered something so unexpected and awesome that I just had to stop what I was doing an try it out. Apparently in the latest Google Earth Update they added a FLIGHT SIMULATOR!!! Don’t believe me? Just download the newest version and press Control + Alt + A and you’ll bring up the options screen. Pick an airport (or just use your current location), pick a plane (I prefer the F-16), and get to flying! Just as a warning though, if you were facing down towards the earth when you chose to start from your current location guess which way the plane will be traveling. Yep, gonna need to pull up! You can use a joystick if you have one, a keyboard, or a mouse (my preference at work). So what are you waiting for?! Click the read link for a download site and Google Flight Simulator Instructions. If you were in London last Saturday night and WEREN’T on the Tube you missed one hell of a party. Midnight marked the last time (for now) that it would be legal to drink on public transportation in London (I know, I can’t believe it either).
